MULTI-FACETED WRITER, JESSICA BARKSDALE INCLAN

Orinda-based Jessica Barksdale Inclán is setting a tough pace for herself. Her first novel, Her Daughter's Eyes, came out in 2001, the second, The Matter of Grace, was published in May, 2002 and a third, When You Go Away, is already set for an April, 2003 publication date. One book a year would be a significant feather in any writer's cap, but it's not enough for her.

Jessica has been teaching a series of English, literature and writing classes since '98. She wins prizes for her short stories and poetry, leads workshops and speaks at writer's conferences. Her bibliography is formidable. She also ably juggles her roles as wife and mother to two sons.
